Brian Detlor wins award for community engagement work on digital literacy

Congratulations to our visiting professor Brian Detlor, whose research was recognised at McMaster University last month when he received the DeGroote School of Business Award for Community Engaged Scholarship. This award is offered by McMaster University for a community-based research partnership that produces and mobilises knowledge in ways that are mutually beneficial. Brian’s award recognises the research that he has undertaken with colleagues at Hamilton Public Libraries on approaches to digital literacy skills development, and the promotion of digital literacy amongst the communities that public libraries serve.
