One of my PhD students, Frances Ryan, is undertaking doctoral research that is concerned with the role of online information in the creation, building, and assessment of personal reputations. She is currently seeking study participants.
Those who volunteer are asked to make some diary entries about their use of online information over the course of a week. The diary entries can be hand-written or electronic. Paper diaries are provided for those wishing to complete by hand. After the diary entries are completed, participants then take part in an interview of around an hour in length, either in person or by Skype. Participants also complete a short survey about their use of social media at the start of the diary-keeping exercise.
If you would like to take part, you can join in any time up until the end of November 2015. Anyone over 18 and based in the UK is welcome to get in touch via the project recruitment page. Frances is especially keen to recruit participants who are between the ages of 18-28, or over 55 years of age.
